El Campeonato tendrá lugar entre el Viernes, 24 de  Junio, cuando se hará el proceso de acreditación (en el caso de no haber podido hacerla anteriormente) y el Domingo, 3 de Julio cuando se jugarán las últimas finales y se hará la ceremonia de entrega de premios.

Recordad las siguientes fechas:

• 24 de Junio – Reunión técnica de delegados de equipo (No olvidéis presentaros: se os dará información e instrucciones importantes)
• 25 de Junio – Desfile de delegaciones y fiesta de inauguración
• 28 de Junio – Social Party (en la que todos los participantes tendrán degustación gratuita y se anunciará la sede del nuevo Campeonato Europeo)
• 30 de Junio – Cena de Autoridades
• 3 de Julio – Finales y Entregas de Premios

Tenemos también algunas actividades preparadas para cada tarde/noche, muchas de las cuales cerca de la playa

Hemos previsto también que el tradicional “Meeting point” se convierta en una verdadera “Fan Zone” en la que charlar.

Este Campeonato, a diferencia de los anteriores, observa algunas características que lo hacen especialmente interesante:

1. El Campeonato será llamado “OPEN” porque su participación está abierta a Equipos No Europeos, los cuales, en segunda fase, competirán por la clasificación “Resto del Mundo”.
2. Con casi total seguridad participaran equipos de todos los continentes, ya que tenemos confirmada la presencia de equipos americanos, asiáticos, africanos y de Oceanía además de los europeos

Cualquier participante en los campeonatos FIMBA deberá poder demostrar su satisfactorio estado de salud para poder disfrutar de la práctica activa del baloncesto de competición. Para ello, deberá facilitar al Comité Organizador correspondiente, en este caso el Comite Organizador de Málaga 2022, la siguiente documentación:

• Documento de exención de responsabilidad del Comité Organizador respecto de causas de salud preexistentes. (waiver)

De igual forma, y para poder actuar en beneficio de su propia salud, deberá proveer al Comité Organizador de la correspondiente autorización para que, a través del Seguro de Accidentes contratado por el mismo para la resolución de posibles lesiones, o fuera de el en caso de tratarse de enfermedades ocultas o sobrevenidas, los responsables sanitarios de cada instalación, y los doctores de los hospitales o centros de salud donde pudiere ser trasladado puedan actuar siempre en beneficio de su salud personal.

Esta autorización formará parte integral del Documento de exención de responsabilidad.

Un Europeo de Veteranos en Málaga con nombres de leyenda

VIVE Nuevo Patrocinador Técnico de Málaga 2022

La marca de ropa deportiva VIVE, proveerá de ropa deportiva tanto a los árbitros internacionales FIMBA como a los de la FUNDACIÓN SEGUIMOS JUGANDO. También vestirá a los participantes en el tradicional FIMBA GAME en que los dirigentes FIMBA y el Comité Organizador se entremezclan en un partido único. Finalmente, también surtirá a los participantes españoles de la “camiseta de calentamiento”, con la que van a desfilar en la ceremonia de apertura del 11 Campeonato de Europa FIMBA de Maxibásket Málaga 2022.

El viernes 26 de noviembre se relanza el XI Campeonato de Europa de Maxibásket

Las 5 de la tarde hora española, será la que en muchos países de Europa y de todo el mundo, las personas practicantes y seguidoras del maxibásket, estarán sin duda conectadas a las redes sociales, para seguir de cerca las informaciones que desde el Comité Organizador se les van a ofrecer.

El encuentro virtual, servirá para repasar varias de las novedades que desde FIMBA se van a producir en éste próximo 2022 , y para presentar al mundo la nueva imagen del Campeonato, creada por el artista malagueño @roldanus (Jesús Roldán).

También se van a dar a conocer entre otras cosas la nueva web, las principales fechas a tener en cuenta, y la forma de seleccionar y contratar el alojamiento para las personas participantes y sus acompañantes.

El relanzamiento se va a poder seguir por Youtube en la cuenta de FIMBA, y por Facebook Live también desde la página de la institución que gobierna y regula el maxibaloncesto en el mundo.

In the City of Buenos Aires, on 20 July of 2022.

The Honorable Disciplinary Board of FIMBA gathers to decide about the not attendance of the LATVIAN team “Latvijas Purenes” to the final game of the category F55+, during the last FIMBA European Championship, in Malaga 2022.

According to the previous resolutions of this Disciplinary Board, a team withdrawal before the end of a tournament or its refusal to compete for any position in a final or semifinal game, shall determine its score loss and to be placed in the last position of the Championship.

Although it is true that the players inform to the organizing committee, before the beginning of the championship, that they could not play on Sunday, the reality it is that an Organizer cannot modify the schedule of such a big championship, with so many games (almost 500), based on a supposition that a team could reach the final game or not. Especially, when the previous day, Saturday 25/6, had reached the limit of number of games allowed for that day. And most of all, because the championship finishes on Sunday.

On the other hand, even when the rules and regulations are clear about the penalties that the players, the delegate and the captain of the team should receive for not attending to the final game (Art. 63. Suspension of all the players for 1 to 3 years and a fine of USD 500.-), this Disciplinary Board will take in consideration the information that the team gave to the Organizing Committee (expressed in the previous paragraph) and will not apply those sanctions.

A different resolution needs to be adopted regarding to the final position that the team should have in the category, because a team that withdraws in the final game of a Championship cannot pretend a medal for that behavior.

Therefore, this HDBF decides that the Latvian Team should be placed in the last position of the Category F55+ and the teams that were in the 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th position, should receive the Silver, Bronce and Iron medals respectively.

Finally, this resolution will be send to the Competition Commission, in order to review the rules and regulations and to include that a team that withdraws before the end of a tournament should be placed in the last position of the category.
